Cross Body Arm Swings
TowelChi Health and Fitness Concepts - Cross Body Arm Swings Routine

Position: Horse stance.
Towel: Fold the towel in half. Place the middle of the towel across your shoulders. Then grab one end of the towel comfortably in each hand and keep your elbows bent. You can wrap the ends of the towel around your hand.
Movement:

Slowly, throw a punch by swinging your forward arm around and up towards the middle in a half circle movement.

Raise up a little on the ball of your foot with each swing.

You weight should shift to the opposite leg. As you return to your starting position, swing around with the other arm, again letting your body raise up freely.

Duration:
20 to 40 times on each side.
Variation:

Try spinning the end of the towel around clockwise in a circle.

See Spinning Ends Punches or try spinning both ends at the same time. Also see Full Circles.

Tip: Exhale as you swing around and rise up. Inhale as you bring your arm back and lower your body down.
