Fold the towel in half. Hold one end of the towel in each hand. Keep the towel taut to add resistance when toning and loose while practicing aerobics or freestyle routines.
Movement:
Raise the towel up and over your head as high as possible without locking you elbows.
Hold this position for a second or two, then slowly bring the towel down towards your hips while bending your knees.
Repeat the movement a few times behind your head, then repeat it a few times to the front.
Duration:
15 to 30 times behind your head and 15 to 30 times to the front.
Remember:
Breathe in deeply on way up and out on the way down.
Variation:
Try holding the towel with your hands closer together and then further apart.
